The &#8220;LIVE&#8221; light turned on and you and some of the best friends you will ever meet were starting to give their analysis of the game. You realized this is where you were meant to be, in front of the camera. this night wasn&#8217;t just working in front of the camera however, the game was over just in time for you to to get out and see the sunset on the walk back to your dorm. You and your friends were meeting in a few minutes to go to a frat party to dance and then go to Wonzone&#8217;s for a calzone afterwards. Nights like these are going to be a regular thing at Oswego if you come here, but here are five more reasons why Oswego is right for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Academics of SUNY Oswego<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"background-color:#4a8530\" class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-1\">\n<li>Many diffferent majors including media and theater related majors with clubs like WTOP and the theater club to join <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zoology and other science majors with our own planetarium and a rooftop greenhouse <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many math and business related majors. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Involvement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"background-color:#4a8530\" class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2\">\n<li>Tons of Student run and faculty run events on campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sports both division 3 and club level are offered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many holiday events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many unsanctioned events run by students as well such as game and sports groups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Themed hockey games are some of the biggest events on campus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intramural mini torunaments for sports are held several times a semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extra bonuses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"background-color:#4a8530\" class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3\">\n<li>Many things we have that aren&#8217;t offered in other schools are our lakeside rocky beaches and beautiful sunsets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extra help offered for any course with many tutors available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Library free for use to students and many books can be taken out at a time as long as they are returned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gym is free to use for all students and are close to the dining halls<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Greek life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"background-color:#4a8530\" class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-4\">\n<li>There are many frats and sororities offered both national and local<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hazing rules are very strict on campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nightlife<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"background-color:#4a8530\" class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-5\">\n<li>Lots of frats hosting parties every week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bars open and crowded late into the night<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only a mile walk from campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The crowd roared as Oswego scored to win the game, the rink may have been cold but the energy from the crowd cheering and yelling was keeping you warm.
